What a beautiful place to be.
10 years ago, before I ever started bodybuilding, I would’ve given anything to have the guts and confidence to step on a stage. To think about everything since then — building my own team, coaching, becoming a pro, Miss USA, competing 13 times, YouTube, TikTok, content creation — it still doesn’t feel real.
You may not realize it, but you’re probably a lot further than the version of you from 1 year ago, 2 years ago, or even 10 years ago ever imagined.
It’s OK to want more. It’s OK to stay hungry.
But don’t forget to look back and recognize just how far you’ve come. 💫
Looking back on a decade of personal growth often reveals just how much we’ve evolved, even if it doesn’t always feel that way in the moment. I remember the early days before I stepped onto any stage — that blend of excitement and intimidation. For anyone starting out in a competitive field like bodybuilding or any personal ambition, it’s important to celebrate those first brave steps. Creating your own path, whether that means building a team, coaching others, or creating meaningful content on platforms like YouTube and TikTok, is a journey filled with highs and lows. One thing I’ve learned along the way is that it’s perfectly normal not to be exactly where you want to be right now. Instead of focusing solely on the next goal, take time to recognize the progress you’ve made compared to where you were years ago. This mindset can reduce burnout and keep you motivated—acknowledging, “I am not exactly where I want to be right now, but I’m exactly where I wanted to be 10 years ago.” This perspective helps maintain a healthy balance between striving for more and appreciating the present. Staying hungry and ambitious is important, but it’s equally important to look back and celebrate milestones. Each competition, each new follower, every coaching success—these are proof of your dedication and serve as motivation to keep going. Whether you’re a beginner or further along in your journey, remembering your starting point can provide the courage and confidence to pursue new challenges and growth opportunities.
