Stepping into what God has called upon me!

Lately, I’ve been learning what it really means to trust God with my life.

I stepped into a new career terrified of failing, doubting myself at every turn… but somehow, I feel like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. I truly love helping the kids I work with, and that alone feels like such a gift.

I also started doing photography for our church, and even though I still feel like an imposter sometimes, today I felt proud of what I captured. Proud of trying. Proud of growing. Proud of letting God lead instead of fear.

God keeps reminding me that I don’t have to be perfect to be called, just willing.

I remember how daunting it was when I first stepped out of my comfort zone—filled with doubts and fears of failure. What helped me the most was reminding myself daily that perfection isn’t required; willingness is. This mindset shift opened doors to truly appreciating every small success and growth moment. Working with children in a new role brought unexpected joy and a deep sense of fulfillment. It’s incredible how helping others can transform our own lives, reinforcing the belief that we are exactly where we need to be. On top of that, exploring photography for my church allowed me to express creativity while serving a greater purpose, even when feelings of being an imposter crept in. Faith plays a crucial role in facing challenges and uncertainty. Trusting God means allowing Him to guide your steps, even when the path is unclear or filled with insecurities. This trust doesn’t erase fear but helps us step forward despite it. If you’re on a similar journey, know that every attempt and every mistake is part of growing stronger in your calling. Your willingness to try is what truly matters, and it’s a gift both to yourself and those you serve.
