Lord, I place my tomorrow in your hands.
Sometimes trusting God means stepping forward without knowing the outcome.
Lately I’ve been sitting with a few scriptures that keep reminding me that my job isn’t to control the future, it’s to trust the One who holds it.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding…” Proverbs 3:5–6
Trusting God doesn’t mean everything will be easy or clear. Sometimes the path feels uncertain. Sometimes the doors close. But that doesn’t mean God isn’t working.
It just means He’s directing the path.
“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him and He will act.” Psalm 37:5
I’m learning that:
✨ My job is obedience and effort
✨ God’s job is the results
✨ Worry doesn’t change tomorrow, but trust changes today
When anxiety creeps in, I remember Jesus’ words about tomorrow in Matthew 6:25–34 — especially verse 34. God only asks us to walk with Him today.
And even when life feels slow or uncertain, His promise still stands:
“For I know the plans I have for you…” Jeremiah 29:11
So tonight my prayer is simple:
Lord, I place my tomorrow in Your hands.

Trusting God with the future can feel like stepping into the unknown, but it’s a deeply freeing experience once you lean into it. I’ve found that embracing the idea that worry won’t change tomorrow, but trust transforms today, helps me navigate seasons of uncertainty. Like Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us, it’s about relinquishing control and instead leaning fully on God’s understanding. What’s encouraging to me is the reminder that my role is committed effort and obedience, and God’s role is to handle the results — as Psalm 37:5 beautifully expresses. This perspective relieves so much pressure and helps me remain focused on the present moment where God calls us to walk faithfully. I also resonated strongly with the way Matthew 6:25–34 encourages walking with faith each day without anxious anticipation. Anxiety can creep in easily, especially when doors close or plans feel unclear. But through personal experience, I’ve learned that even those closed doors are part of God’s ultimate plan, gently guiding us to where we need to be. Listening to music like "Way Maker" by Sinach reinforces this hope, reminding me that God is continually making a way forward, even if I don’t immediately see it. Through trusting God’s timing and faithfulness, the fear of uncertainty diminishes, replaced by peace and hope. For anyone struggling with anxiety over what’s next, placing tomorrow in God’s hands is not about instant success but embracing His long-term faithfulness. It’s about walking with Him today, knowing that the future is secure in His care and guidance.

thank you,I will pray the same. amen
