How To Save Money At Concerts!

Here are a few ways to save money at concerts!

➡️ Eat beofre you go! Do not buy food at the concert if you can help it. Meals at venues can be SUPER pricey, upwards of $30! Eat on the way if you can. You need to stay hydrated, so you may have to buy water in the venue, even if it's $8 for a bottle. 😭

➡️ Limit yourself to 1 piece of merch, or set aside a set $ amount for merch! Merch can get super pricey, $40-$55 for a single T-Shirt. There are always cool fan made pieces on Etsy, Amazon etc. for a fraction of the price.

Concerts are so pricey as it is, so it's great to save money where you can. I have been to over 30 concerts, I have lots of tips and tricks to share regarding saving money & making the most out of your show. Would you guys like to see more of these posts? 👀

Make sure to give me a follow to see weekly budgeting tips & deals! 🛍️🧾💸

... Read moreGoing to concerts is an incredible experience, but the costs can really add up beyond just the ticket price! Since I've been to so many shows, I've picked up even more ways to keep my wallet happy while still having an amazing time watching my favorite performer on stage. First off, let's talk about tickets. They're often the biggest expense, but there are definitely ways to save! I always recommend signing up for fan club newsletters or following artists on social media for presale codes. I've snagged some fantastic seats at face value this way. Another trick I've learned is to compare prices across different ticketing platforms like Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, or StubHub – sometimes one has a better deal than another, especially closer to the event date. For less popular events, or if I'm feeling adventurous, I’ve even scored last-minute tickets for a steal from official resale sites on the day of the show! Next, transportation and parking can be surprisingly expensive. My friends and I always try to carpool to split gas and parking fees. If the venue is in a city, checking public transport options like buses or subways can save a ton, plus it avoids the hassle of parking altogether. If driving is your only option, look for parking apps that show cheaper lots a short walk away – a little extra physical activity before or after the concert is good for you, and it saves cash you can put towards that one special merch item from the merch truck! While the main article mentioned buying water, let's talk about other drinks and snacks. Instead of paying sky-high prices inside, I often meet friends at a nearby bar or restaurant before the show for a pre-game drink and a snack. It's usually much cheaper and a great way to build up excitement. Always check the venue's policy on bringing in empty reusable water bottles – some allow them, and that's a huge win for staying hydrated without breaking the bank. You definitely don't want to get stuck paying for an expensive burger and fries inside if you're trying to budget! Finally, it's about setting an overall experience budget. Beyond just food and merch, think about your total spend for the day. This includes tickets, travel, any pre-show meet-ups, and souvenirs. By planning ahead, I find it's much easier to stick to my budget and truly enjoy the concert scene without any financial stress hanging over my head. It means I can focus on the music and the moment, which is what it's all about!
