Is Lululemon worth it (on clearance?)

Here are some clearance/sale finds I saw at Lululemon today. Do you guys shop at Lulu? I think it's SO EXPENSIVE - even on sale! But... it seems to be great quality, so it would last a while. Sometimes it’s better to spend more money for high quality pieces that’ll last you, rather than buying cheap clothing every year and having to replace them.

I definitely understand how people like Lulu, but I also get why people may not be able to get their basics here - it would costs hundreds of dollars! Let me know what you guys think, and check yours for some clearance and better prices, if you’ve been wanting to try them out.

... Read moreAfter my recent Lululemon clearance hunt, where I spotted some great deals like those light grey athletic shorts for $59 (originally $78) and a black V-neck t-shirt slashed from $58 to $29, it really got me thinking about how to score the best Lululemon pieces without breaking the bank. While finding gems in the in-store clearance section is awesome, many of you might be wondering, "is Lululemon outlet cheaper?" It's a fantastic question, and the answer isn't always a simple yes or no! From my experience and what I've learned from fellow Lululemon lovers, outlets can definitely offer lower prices. However, it's important to know that Lululemon outlets often carry a mix of past-season items, styles specifically made for the outlet, and sometimes even items with minor imperfections. The discounts can be significant, but you might not always find the latest collections or the exact item you're looking for. It's truly a treasure hunt, and sometimes the quality of the outlet-specific lines can differ slightly from the core retail store products. So, while it can be cheaper, it's a good idea to check the fabric and fit carefully. Beyond outlets and in-store clearance, there are a few other secret weapons for saving on Lululemon. My absolute favorite is the "We Made Too Much" section on their website. This is where they put items that are overstocked or have been discontinued, and the discounts can be incredible – often better than what you'd find in a typical store clearance. I always check this section first when I'm looking for something specific. Also, keep an eye out for major sales events like Black Friday, Boxing Day, and seasonal markdowns. Signing up for their email list can give you a heads-up on these events, though they don't always announce everything far in advance. Ultimately, the question of "is Lululemon worth it?" still boils down to quality and longevity. As I mentioned before, spending a bit more for something that lasts years often makes more sense than constantly replacing cheaper alternatives. For instance, those dark grey athletic shorts I saw for $59, down from $78, still represent a decent investment, but if they hold up for years of workouts, that's value. Taking care of your Lululemon gear – washing cold, air-drying – also extends its life, making that initial investment go further. So, whether it's through careful clearance shopping, an outlet visit, or snagging a deal from "We Made Too Much," there are smart ways to enjoy Lululemon's quality without always paying full price!
