Another horse added to my list.
She was brought in while they were starting to tag and load the first group, sold directly to Mexico. Again, worth nothing more than a number on a sticker slapped on her neck and a couple hundred dollars.
At what point does it become heartless? At what point does this become Illegal and wrong? At what point do people open their eyes and see the truth of what is happening?
Where their dignity, their life, is worth nothing except when they are only needed by us. Then they are nothing more than trash to be thrown away at first toss.
We have roughly $45,000 to go to get everyone on our list that we stopped from shipping SAFE.
If 10,000 people watch this reel and everyone donated $4 we would have this made — that’s how easy this could be if it worked like that. Can it?! Can it be that easy to save their lives?!
Please help me pull this off. PLEASE. I know everyone is going into the Fourth of July weekend but where everyone is celebrating their freedom, I am fighting for theirs…#RescueAnimals #NonProfitLife #DonateForHorses #SaveAnimals #HorseCharity #EquineLife #HorseGoals #HorseInspiration
Rescuing horses from slaughter is a heartbreaking yet crucial mission. One poignant example is a mare covered in severe cancer, facing an unimaginable fate simply because she was tagged for shipment to Mexico's slaughterhouses. It's devastating to witness such suffering, especially when these animals have done no harm and only wanted to live with dignity. In my experience dealing with equine rescues, the process is always urgent and emotionally taxing. Each horse saved feels like a victory against a system that often treats them as disposable commodities rather than living beings. The truth is, many horses are valued only by the price on their tag, and when that price is low, their lives hang precariously in the balance. Funding is the biggest hurdle. The goal to raise $45,000 to halt the shipment of these horses might seem daunting, but breaking it down reveals how achievable it can be. If just 10,000 supporters donated a modest $4, together we could save an entire group of mustangs from an agonizing end. It’s a simple call to action that shows the power of a united community. Supporting such causes not only saves lives but also raises awareness about the cruel realities behind horse slaughter. By sharing stories and updates of rescued horses, donors and advocates get a glimpse into the impact of their generosity. From medical care for horses battling illnesses to providing safe sanctuaries, every dollar stretches far. Beyond donations, spreading awareness on social media platforms can motivate others to join the cause. Hashtags like #RescueAnimals, #DonateForHorses, and #HorseCharity help connect passionate advocates worldwide. Every voice counts in changing perceptions and policies around horse welfare. Celebrating freedom during holidays like the Fourth of July reminds us how vital it is to fight for the freedom and dignity of all living creatures. When you support horse rescues, you become part of a compassionate movement that values life, kindness, and hope for a better future for these majestic animals.
