... Read moreReading an extraordinary 68 books in a single year was a truly transformative experience for me. I found that setting clear goals helped keep my motivation high throughout the year. Tackling entire series like the Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros and Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas allowed me to immerse myself in captivating fantasy worlds filled with brutal games, grumpy dragons, and sizzling tension. Starting new series such as Zodiac Academy and enjoying the heartfelt Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy added diverse genres to my reading list, which helped avoid burnout. Tracking monthly favorites also highlighted how different authors shaped my year, from the action-packed "The Chain" by Adrian McKinty to the emotionally rich "Silver Elite" by Dani Francis. One important tip I discovered was incorporating variety—balancing high-intensity fantasy with contemporary romance and suspense—to maintain excitement. Audiobooks and e-readers became my allies for maximizing reading during commutes or chores. Moreover, embracing recommendations from bestselling authors and communities amplified my exposure to top-rated books. As I set my 2026 goal to 75 books, I’m planning a more structured reading schedule and exploring new genres to broaden my horizons even further. If you're aiming to boost your own reading habits, consider setting incremental targets, mixing genres, and creating themed reading months. The joy of discovering new voices and stories makes every page worth it, turning reading from a task into an adventure.
