PLEASE HELPš„¹
I definitely underestimated the puppy stageš
Taking your puppy for their first walk can be both exciting and overwhelming. When I first tried walking my puppy, I quickly realized how energetic and unpredictable they could be. This phase requires a lot of patience and understanding. Start with short walks in a quiet area to help your puppy get used to the leash and new surroundings. Always bring treats to reward good behavior, which helps in training and making walks positive experiences. Expect some pulling or sudden stops; itās completely normal as your puppy explores the world. Consistency is key. Regular walks not only tire your puppy out but also build their confidence. Make sure to observe your puppyās reactions and never force them into situations they seem scared of. Carry water to keep them hydrated and take breaks if they seem tired. Remember, the puppy stage is a critical time for socialization and training. Positive first walks set the foundation for a lifetime of enjoyable outings and a strong bond between you and your dog.
