If you're dreaming of an East Coast USA & Canada adventure, you HAVE to try this route! It’s perfect for seeing diverse landscapes and cultures without flying. Starting my journey, the drive through upstate New York was surprisingly scenic. While NYC itself is a destination, don't miss the chance to explore beyond Manhattan. We took some detours through the Catskills and even dipped our toes into the stunning Finger Lakes region – perfect for a quick hike or a wine tasting stop if that's your thing! It really broke up the drive and gave us a taste of rural beauty. Many people just focus on 'road trip to NYC,' but exploring around New York is just as rewarding. The journey northward towards Canada was an adventure in itself.
