Will I continue these series…
I am in the middle of so many series right now and I have decided for 2024 I am going to get organized and finish some of the series on my list! So let’s go through some and what my thoughts are on them!
Crowns of Nyaxia -
I’ve read all the books that are currently out in this series so far and I know that they are going to continue on in this world and I am definitely interested in seeing where the world goes.
Magnolia Parks/Daisy Haines -
YES I AM READY FOR BOOK 5!!! I love this series with my whole heart and it is one of my top reads of the whole year. I need the next book ASAP. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this is perfect for fans of gossip girl (mostly fans of chuck and Blair). I love this series so much I am going to be devastated at the end.
Half a Soul -
I enjoyed this book a good bit but I wasn’t dying to pick up the next one when I finished. I definitely think I will when the mood strikes me though! These are just interconnected standalone so nothing to series.
Powerless -
Nope. This was not for me AT ALL. This felt like a copy and paste of a bunch of books that I have read. I truly don’t understand the hype with this one and I wish more people were talking about the similarities to other very popular books.
The Empyrean -
I loved Fourth Wing, but Iron Flame just was not what I wanted it to be. It was definitely good and I will be continuing but I feel like there were bits where the writing felt rushed and the pacing was off.

As we dive into the world of beloved book series, it's important to celebrate our reading journeys and preferences. For those eagerly following the ongoing tales of Crowns of Nyaxia, the excitement is palpable as readers await further developments in a universe filled with intriguing characters and vibrant storytelling. Similarly, fans of Magnolia Parks are anticipating the release of Book 5, which will surely continue to capture the essence of young adult drama reminiscent of 'Gossip Girl.' For many readers, the distinct style of interconnected standalone books, like in the case of 'Half a Soul,' presents a unique charm, even if it may not ignite an immediate desire to read the sequel. In contrast, 'Powerless' has stirred controversy among readers for its perceived lack of originality, encouraging discussions on book comparisons and the expectations that come with new releases. Lastly, while 'Iron Flame' from The Empyrean series has presented a mixed bag for fans of 'Fourth Wing,' it exemplifies the varied experiences we all have as readers navigating complex narratives. Ultimately, the diverse range of genres and storytelling techniques available today keeps the literary community vibrant and energized. Whether following old favorites or searching for new series to explore, every reader's journey is unique and worth sharing with fellow book enthusiasts. What series are you excited to continue in the upcoming year?
