Jesus is coming back soon Please Be Ready

Reflecting on the promise of Jesus' return helps many of us to find peace and purpose amid life's challenges. I often find comfort in Psalm 121:1-2, where the psalmist looks to the mountains and acknowledges that help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. This verse reminds me that no matter what difficulties arise, our true help and strength come from God. In daily life, staying prepared for Jesus’ return means nurturing our faith through prayer, study of scripture, and living with love and compassion. Verses like John 8:12, where Jesus says, "I am the light of the world," encourage believers to walk in His light and avoid spiritual darkness. Similarly, John 11:25 affirms the power of resurrection and eternal life for those who believe. It's also inspiring to remember Romans 8:37, which tells us that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. This assurance emboldens me to face hardships with courage and hope. Likewise, 1 Peter 3:15 urges us to always be ready to share the reason for the hope we have, doing so with gentleness and respect—an advice that transforms how we witness our faith daily. Amid a world that can often feel cold and uncertain, holding onto these scriptures as personal reminders brings a sense of peace and readiness. By focusing on God's unfailing love and finding shelter in the shadow of His wings (Psalm 36:7), we can live confidently while awaiting Jesus’ return. This readiness is not just about anticipation but about embodying the love and light Jesus exemplified, sharing that hope generously with others.
