Found these cute embroidered frames along with these cute plates from estate sales and a local thrift store. Knew the would be perfect for my kitchen! Used some dollar store frame displays to hold the plates, and added them to the shelf above the threshold leaving my kitchen! Now to convince my husband to let me paint the cabinets and back splash!
Thrift store finds can be a treasure trove for unique home decor. Not only do they offer character and charm, but styling them effectively can elevate your space significantly. Start by blending your thrifted items with existing decor; this creates a cohesive look that feels curated rather than cluttered. Consider using thrifted frames to create eye-catching gallery walls. For instance, a collection of embroidered frames can serve as an artistic focal point in your kitchen or living room. Pair them with various art styles or vintage plates to create an eclectic gallery that reflects your personality. Additionally, utilizing dollar store frame displays can add an inexpensive yet stylish touch to your decor, allowing you to showcase those unique plates elegantly. Another idea is to repurpose your finds creatively. For example, vintage plates can also be turned into wall art or used as serving pieces at your next gathering. When styling your kitchen, think about the color palette; playful colors from your thrift store finds can bring vibrancy to otherwise neutral spaces. Remember, the goal is to make each piece shine while contributing to the overall aesthetic. Don't forget about painting cabinets or backsplashes as part of your styling endeavor; these changes can make thrifted treasures pop even more. Experiment with colors and finishes that complement your found items. Embrace the thrill of thrift shopping and get inspired to add unique flair to your home!
