Creating Heaven on Earth for myself 🦋
One thing that i’ve realized in the year of 27 turning 28, or “Twenty-great” i would say 🎂🥳, is that life is meant to be LIVED. No matter how many times you have to stop & start over, it IS meant for you to create & learn from experiences! Some of us get so caught up in the normalized things in life: wanting to have someone, waiting for ppl to do things with you, having children young, getting married, buying a home & settling down because that’s what we are taught in Western countries.. but there is SO much more to LIFE than settling for anything. The earth is HUGE, beautiful as well & we shouldn’t confine ourselves to one environment. The world is meant to be SEEN, whether you do it alone or with someone.. Stop surviving & start LIVING your dreams! 💭
It’s a powerful realization, isn’t it? That moment you truly grasp that life isn't just about ticking boxes – getting a job, finding a partner, buying a house – but about deeply experiencing every moment. For too long, many of us are taught to simply survive, to go through the motions, letting fear or societal expectations dictate our path. But what if we decided to stop surviving and start living our dreams, creating our very own 'heaven on Earth'? I’ve found that the shift from surviving to truly living begins with a mindset change. It’s about internalizing the belief that the universe bears no ill to me, that opportunities are abundant, and challenges are merely growth opportunities. This doesn't mean life suddenly becomes a fairytale, but rather that your perspective transforms. Instead of viewing setbacks as roadblocks, you start seeing them as detours leading to exciting, unexpected places. One of the biggest hurdles can be breaking free from what we're 'supposed' to do. The idea of embracing vulnerability and choosing a path less traveled might seem daunting. But my experience has shown me that the most rewarding moments come when I step outside my comfort zone. It could be as simple as trying a new hobby, saying yes to an unexpected invitation, or even taking that solo trip you've always dreamed of. That’s where the real 'TRAVEL INSPO' comes from – the courage to see the world, whether with a companion or on your own terms. Imagine yourself amidst breathtaking rice terraces or swinging over a tropical landscape, just like in that image – that's not just a vacation, it's living. So, how do we practically go from surviving to truly living? Firstly, define what 'heaven on Earth' means to *you*. Is it exploring new cultures, pursuing a passion project, or simply finding inner peace? Once you know your destination, you can start charting your course. Don't wait for permission or for others to join you. If you want to explore, start small: plan a weekend getaway, visit a local landmark, or learn a new language. You don't need a huge budget to begin your journey of exploration. Secondly, embrace the idea of stopping and starting over. Life isn't linear, and it's okay if your path changes. Every 'restart' is a chance to learn and refine what truly brings you joy. Trust that even when things feel uncertain, you have the resilience to navigate them. This journey of creating your best life isn't about perfection; it’s about continuous growth, unwavering self-belief, and the exhilarating pursuit of what makes your soul sing. It's about recognizing that the world is huge and beautiful, waiting for you to truly see it.
