College in my 30’s 📚📖
I went back to school at 30 and will be graduating with my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Now approaching 35, I am so glad I waited until later in life to do this. It was worth every moment there were nights I cried, days I wanted to quit, but I stayed the course for my beautiful babies. I’m so glad my babies got to witness this major milestone , literally is the best feeling.
This degree means so much more than just a piece of paper. It’s proof that you can push through even when life feels overwhelming. I’m proud of this moment and beyond grateful for every person who supported me along the way.
Just know that it is too late to go after your dreams. ❤️
And honestly? This is the best Mother’s Day gift I could ever ask for.

Going back to school as an adult can be a transformative experience. Many individuals return to college in their 30s and beyond, finding that their life experiences enrich their studies and provide unique perspectives in the classroom. This journey often comes with challenges—balancing family, work, and studies can be overwhelming. However, those who embark on this path often uncover a deeper sense of purpose and fulfillment. According to research, adult learners bring motivation and lived experiences that can enhance classroom discussions and group projects. By pursuing higher education later in life, they not only improve career prospects but also serve as role models for their children, showcasing the value of lifelong learning. This decision can lead to significant personal growth, opening doors to new opportunities and friendships. As seen in numerous success stories across academia, such as those associated with the Class of 2025, many adult learners illustrate that it's never too late to invest in oneself. They prove that education and personal milestones are achievable at any stage of life. Embracing this period can also lead to strong support networks among peers, creating lasting friendships built on shared experiences of determination and resilience. Education, therefore, is not merely about acquiring knowledge; it is also about building a community of like-minded individuals committed to personal and professional advancement. No matter the age, the pursuit of knowledge fosters growth and serves as a reminder that dreams can be achieved at any point in life.
