Thanks to the abundant marine life like abalone, sea squirt, sea cucumber, and sea urchin, it is popular place for haenyeo (female divers). Cheongsapo daritdol, where the first drop of daylight touches down and haenyeo have led a tough life, is a new-born and dynamic daritdol. The unique formation of five stepping-stone rocks leading to the lighthouse creates a natural path that is both visually striking and historically significant. Local haenyeo, female divers renowned for their underwater harvesting skills, have long depended on this area for gathering abalone, sea squirts, sea cucumbers, and sea urchins, contributing to the cultural richness of the site.
