Another massive game-changer for me has been slowing down. Ready Or Not isn't your typical run-and-gun shooter. Rushing in almost always leads to disaster, whether it's getting ambushed or, worse, accidentally harming a hostage or civilian. I used to be so impatient, wanting to clear rooms quickly. Now, I take my time, pieing corners, checking every angle, and using tools like the mirror gun or snake cam extensively. Identifying threats and non-combatants before engagement can save you from those heartbreaking "CIVILIAN KILLED" penalties. Gear selection also plays a huge role in hostage scenarios. While lethal force is sometimes necessary, having non-lethal options like beanbag shotguns, pepperball guns, or tasers is a must.
