Playing Maestro on Coastline in R6 Siege has always been one of my favorite defensive experiences. His Evil Eyes are incredibly versatile for intel and denying pushes, and on a map like Coastline with its multiple entry points and vertical play, they become absolutely crucial. For the Hookah/Billiards site, my go-to strategy usually involves placing one turret to watch the main entry points into Hookah from the 2F Hookah Lounge and another in 2F Billiards Room to cover the plant spots or the *VIP Hallway*. You can even get creative and place one overlooking the Aquarium area to catch attackers trying to vault in from outside. These placements are key for denying post-plant defuser attempts and gathering early intel. Beyond just the turrets, effective site setup is paramount. Always prioritize reinforcing critical walls in Billiards and Hookah, especially those leading to key plant spots. Creating smart rotates between bombsites and adjacent rooms, like from Billiards to the Hallway, allows for quick repositioning and flanking opportunities. Don't forget to use your barricades wisely to funnel attackers or block off less important lines of sight. This helps sculpt the flow of the round to your advantage. Knowing common attacker's pushes, especially through windows or the EXT Main Entrance approach, helps you pre-place your turrets for maximum impact. The Evil Eye's ability to ping enemies is invaluable. I’ve seen countless rounds saved just by having a well-placed camera giving continuous intel, allowing teammates to anticipate pushes and hold strong angles. One thing to always be mindful of is operators like *Brava*. She can hack your turrets, turning your intel against you. So, positioning them where they're not easily seen or shot down, and having a plan to deal with a hacked camera, is essential. Sometimes, it’s better to have a slightly less aggressive placement if it means the turret survives longer against a clever *Brava*. Remember, Maestro isn't about being static. While your turrets do the work, you should be actively holding angles, denying entry, or even attempting a sneaky flank if the intel from your Evil Eyes permits. Avoid just hiding couches in one corner; be dynamic and use the information your gadgets provide. The goal is to make the attackers waste time and resources, forcing them into unfavorable engagements. Overall, Maestro on Coastline is a blast.
