All Bosses: Round 7 Is Elder Jinchi
So, I finally made it to Part 7 of the BLACK MYTH: WUKONG ALL BOSS FIGHTS, and wow, Elder Jinchi did not disappoint! This venerable monk is no pushover; his combat style is unique and requires a good grasp of timing and observation. When I first encountered Elder Jinchi, I was immediately struck by his agility despite his appearance. He moves much faster than you’d expect, and his staff attacks have surprising reach. My initial attempts against Elder Jinchi were, to put it mildly, a bit disastrous. I tried to go in aggressively, but he punishes overextension severely. What I quickly realized is that patience is absolutely key here. He has several distinct attack patterns. One of his most common moves is a rapid staff combo, which can be devastating if you get caught. I found that dodging into some of his attacks, rather than away, often placed me in a better position for a counterattack. It felt counter-intuitive at first, but it opened up crucial windows for damage. The fight really kicks into a higher gear in his second phase. Elder Jinchi becomes even more formidable, sometimes summoning spiritual projections or imbuing his staff with elemental power. This is where the real challenge began for me. His attacks become wider, and he gains new ranged abilities that force you to stay mobile. I remember one particularly frustrating sequence where he would leap back and unleash a wave of energy, followed by a swift lunge. Learning to anticipate this combo was a game-changer. Parrying became incredibly important here, especially against his stronger, more telegraphed swings. Getting that perfect parry felt so satisfying and really helped chip away at his posture. For anyone struggling with the Elder Jinchi boss fight, I’d highly recommend focusing on learning his tells. Every boss in Black Myth: Wukong has them, and Elder Jinchi is no exception. Watch his staff movements closely; there's often a slight wind-up before his powerful attacks. Don't be afraid to take a few hits just to observe his patterns in a safe-ish manner. Also, managing your stamina is crucial. You'll need it for dodging and attacking, so don't just spam your abilities. Pick your moments. I found that saving my stronger abilities for when I had a clear opening after a successful dodge or parry yielded the best results. It took me quite a few tries, more than I'd like to admit, to finally defeat Elder Jinchi. There were moments of genuine frustration, but the feeling of finally landing that last hit and seeing him fall was incredibly rewarding. This boss truly tested my reflexes and my understanding of the game's combat mechanics. If you're currently stuck on this formidable monk in Black Myth: Wukong, don't get discouraged! Keep practicing, keep observing, and you'll eventually find your rhythm. You've got this!
