Let’s open my first pack of Pitch Black!
Let’s open a pack of Pokémon Pitch Black kind of in the pitch black. If it was actually pitch black there would be no reason for a video cause you couldn’t see the cards 😂.
Got the ghost and dark type Pokémon Spiritomb here in the dark along with another ghost type Banette. I really like how the colors on the Spiritbomb card all come together and looks cool!
Koraidon is in the pack too with Centiskorch, Primeape and Relicanth. Can’t forget about Grubbin and Trumbeak who is ready to fly.

Opening Pokémon card packs has always been a thrilling experience for me, and the Pitch Black set did not disappoint during my first pack opening. One thing that truly caught my eye was the unique artwork of Spiritomb, a ghost and dark-type Pokémon; the colors managed to merge beautifully, creating this shadowy yet vivid effect on the card. It’s amazing how such intricate details can make a card more desirable for collectors and fans alike. The pack also included Banette, another ghost-type Pokémon, which reminded me of the eerie yet cool vibe these dark-type cards carry. I was excited to find Koraidon, a powerful figure in the Pokémon universe, alongside Centiskorch, Primeape, and Relicanth, making the pack feel diverse and valuable. Additionally, I noticed smaller, less flashy Pokémon like Grubbin and the ever-ready-to-fly Trumbeak. They might not steal the spotlight, but they add depth to the pack’s lineup. From my experience, packs like these offer a wonderful balance between high-profile Pokémon and those that have tactical advantages in gameplay. An important aspect to keep in mind when opening any Pokémon card pack is the safety warning I came across on some packaging images—'WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD' is a reminder that these collectibles, especially small items and cards with accessories like Pokémon Tools or Energy cards, should be kept away from young children. If you’re new to Pitch Black or any Pokémon pack openings, I’d recommend watching unboxings online or joining collector forums to get tips on identifying rare cards and understanding their value in trading and gameplay. The thrill of unveiling each card in the dim lighting, as I joked about in my video, adds to the excitement but also shows the vibrant colors and gloss of these cards when seen up close. Overall, my first Pitch Black pack opening left me wanting to explore more packs. It’s a fantastic set for both collectors passionate about card art and players looking for strong dark and ghost-type Pokémon to build their decks.
