Struggling with your goals? Read this ⬇️
12 days into 2026 and the "New Year" silence is getting loud. ☁️✨
You know that feeling? The initial rush starts to fade, the motivation gets quiet, and those old, easy patterns start looking really tempting again. This is usually the part where we either double down or drift away.
I have big goals I’m chasing this year—I’m not slowing down. But I’ve realized that if I’m just running toward what I want, in my own strength, I’m going to end up exhausted and off-course.
That’s why I’m holding onto one word: ALIGNMENT.
It’s not about abandoning the hustle; it’s about making sure the hustle has a holy purpose. It’s letting God lead so my goals align with His will, even when the next step feels uncomfortable or the "how" is unclear.
For me, 2026 looks like:
Less forcing ➡️ More trusting the process.
Less "my way" ➡️ More obedience to the call.
Less delay ➡️ More consistency in the small things.
I’m moving with intention this year. But I don’t want to just talk about my journey—I want to know where your head is at, too. How are you really doing 12 days in?
If you had to choose just one word to guide your heart and your goals this year, what would it be? Drop it in the comments, I’d love to see what we’re all building toward. 👇🤍

Starting a new year with big goals can be both exciting and daunting. I’ve noticed myself feeling that initial burst of energy slowly fade within just a couple of weeks. It’s natural to want to revert to old, comfortable habits when motivation dips, but that’s precisely the moment when a shift in mindset can be transformative. One approach that’s truly helped me is focusing on "alignment"—aligning my actions and goals with my deeper values and purpose rather than just pushing hard for results. This means letting go of forcing things and instead trusting the process, even if the path forward isn’t entirely clear. It’s about being obedient to what feels like a higher calling, which adds a meaningful dimension to the hustle. In practice, I’ve started breaking my larger goals into smaller, manageable steps that I can consistently work on each day, avoiding burnout while making tangible progress. Celebrating these little wins keeps the momentum without overwhelming me. Another key tip is to regularly check in with your motivation and mindset. When I feel like I’m drifting or losing focus, I pause to reflect on why I started and remind myself of the word I chose to guide my year—"alignment." It serves as a compass that keeps me steady, helping me adjust my direction without abandoning my vision. If you find yourself struggling, try picking one word or phrase for the year that resonates with your heart. Let that word inspire your daily choices and encourage patience with yourself during setbacks. Remember, consistency in small steps often beats sporadic bursts of effort. Lastly, sharing your journey and hearing from others facing similar challenges can be incredibly motivating. Engaging in communities that focus on growth mindset, intentional living, and motivation can provide support and accountability. It’s comforting to know we're not alone in this journey. Ultimately, 2026 is about growth with grace—trusting that by aligning our goals with purpose and staying consistent, we can overcome those moments of doubt and build a fulfilling year, one step at a time.
