Do you keep collars on your dogs all day?
Our pup only wears a collar when we take her out for walks, trips to the park, basically anytime we need to clip a leash on. The second we get home, we take it off. It just feels like letting her unwind.
So do other dog owners leave collars on 24/7? Last week, I saw my neighbor’s golden retriever napping on their porch with the collar still on, and it made me think that isn’t that uncomfortable? For me, it’s like how I can’t wait to take my bra off after a long day, so why wouldn’t a dog want that same comfort at home?
My dog always stretches a little when we take hers off but maybe I’m overthinking it? Do collars not bother most dogs? Or is it just a habit people stick to for convenience? Someone tell me please!

She keeps her collar on but not her harness, they’re too unpredictable and if she runs out then she’s identifiable
