Alpine Stitch
Row 1: Start row with chain 2 or Standing/Stacked Double Crochet (STDC) and then Double Crochet (DC) in each stitch across, turn
Row 2: Single Crochet (SC) in each stitch across, turn,
Row 3: CH 2 or STDC, then Front Post Double Crochet (FPDC) in the next DC of the previous row, turn,
Row 4: SC in each stitch across, turn,
Row 5: CH 2 or STDC, DC in top of FPDC or previous row, *(FPDC in DC two rows below), end with DC in last stitch, turn,
Repeat: Repeat rows 2-5 as many times as desired, changing colors as you wish.
Final row: CH 1 or STDC in 1st Stitch and then DC in each stitch across, bind off.
