Crochet Basics ~ Single Crochet ~ Turning & Row 2

Step 5 in my Crochet Basics series is intended to show how to turn your work and continue with Row 2 and subsequent rows of Single Crochet (SC). Please be advised that I use what I call "Chainless Turning" whereas most crocheters may chain 1 before turning. In that case, the turning chain is not counted as a stitch. This is personal choice. I feel my sides are straighter and there is less chance of adding extra stitches to the row. There is no right way or wrong way of doing this. Find what works best for you. 🙂
