Spilling my favorite iPhone tip..😘

Sooooo excited to share this finally online. I’ve been doing this for over a year now. I LOVE customizing my screen. This is great for iPads too! Make sure to follow cause we don't gatekeep here 🙂‍↔️

Here’s how I do it

💕Screenshot a BG COLOR & “Icon Item“

→ So in this case I screenshoted a brown BG photo, cropped it square & starbucks cup for my item { pinterest is great toooo }

💕Create a Sticker in Photos App From “Item” -

→ Hold down on the item until it outlines! & add new sticker.

💕Go back to BG square in photos app

→ “edit” “markup” “+” “add sticker”

💕 Add to screen. Add a new shortcut in Shortcuts App

→ Select “+” at top and then select “open app” select app, share, add to homescreen, change image to your icon, add.

All done 😚 Have fun everyone!! I made this trick up awhile ago and it streamlines designing my homescreen.

... Read moreOkay, so you've mastered customizing your app icons like a pro with the Photos app and Shortcuts – that's awesome! But guess what? Personalizing your iPhone home screen goes way beyond just icons. I've spent so much time making my phone truly *mine*, and I'm excited to share some more tips that'll transform your screen into a functional and aesthetic masterpiece. First up: Widgets! If you're not using widgets, you're missing out on a huge part of the iOS customization game. They're those little dynamic boxes that give you information at a glance without even opening an app. To add them, simply long-press on an empty spot on your home screen until your apps jiggle, then tap the '+' button in the top left corner. You can scroll through tons of options from Apple's own apps and many third-party apps too! I personally love having a calendar for June widget right on my main screen to keep track of my schedule, and a habit tracker widget helps me stay accountable for my daily goals. You can even stack multiple widgets on top of each other to save space – just drag one widget onto another of the same size. It's like having a mini dashboard for your life! Imagine having a photo widget displaying your favorite memories, or a smart stack rotating through useful info throughout your day. Seeing those personalized widgets, like my Starbucks-themed icon next to a note with a reminder, really makes my setup feel complete and uniquely me. Next, let’s talk about Wallpapers and Backgrounds. While a simple solid color background can be chic, don’t underestimate the power of a stunning wallpaper to set the entire mood of your home screen. Head to Settings > Wallpaper to explore dynamic options, photo collections, or even create a custom Lock Screen with different fonts and widgets. I love finding aesthetic wallpapers on Pinterest or even using my own high-quality photos. The key is to choose one that complements your app icon colors and overall theme. Remember, your wallpaper is the canvas for all your beautiful icons and widgets, so pick something that sparks joy! Beyond the visual, think about organization with the App Library and Folders. Even with custom icons for your essential apps, a cluttered home screen can be overwhelming. I like to keep my main home screen clean with just a few key apps and important widgets. All my other apps are neatly tucked away in the App Library or organized into smart folders on secondary screens. You can drag apps directly to the App Library or create folders by dragging one app icon onto another. This keeps everything tidy and makes finding apps a breeze, contributing to that overall #ipadaesthetic and #phoneinspo vibe. For an even deeper level of personalization, explore Focus Modes. This is a game-changer! You can set up different Focus Modes (like 'Work,' 'Personal,' 'Gaming,' or 'Sleep') and have each one display a different set of home screens. For example, my 'Work' Focus shows only my productivity apps and work-related widgets, while my 'Personal' Focus brings up my social media, entertainment, and a fun photo widget. It’s like having multiple iPhones in one, tailored to whatever I’m doing. It truly transforms how you interact with your device throughout the day, and it’s an incredible way to personalize your screen beyond just looks. There are so many ways to customize your iPhone screen to reflect your personality and boost your productivity. Don't be afraid to experiment with different layouts, widget combinations, and wallpapers. The beauty of iOS is how much freedom it gives us to make our devices truly our own. Have fun with it, and let your creativity shine!
