I am writing a book(have been for 12 years...)
The Scamenaur Chronicles has been my life for 12 years. I grew up in this world of monsters, gods, daemons, and mystical powers, and only recently I realized that there is some truth in it. I found Christ, and He moved me to unpublish and rewrite my book.
I began by adding new POVs, shifting perspectives, adding so much to the plot that now I am proud to begin resharing my story with the world! I have decided that rather than shame for not completing it perfectly the first time, I am going to feel accomplished because I will persist and finish the project I began so long ago.
God wrote this story in me for a reason, so I will share it with the world.
I am still in the editing phase, but before we know it I'm sure I will be pushing the publish button!
The Scamenaur Chronicles blends unique fantasy elements with rich gothic mythology and deeply rooted dark Christian themes, creating a story world unlike many contemporary fantasy novels. Incorporating monsters, gods, and daemons into a narrative influenced by spiritual awakening is a distinctive approach that gives the saga a fresh and meaningful dimension. Over twelve years, the author has matured alongside this evolving world, reflecting personal growth through the story. A key aspect of rewriting the book involves adding new points of view (POVs) and shifting perspectives. This technique enriches the narrative by allowing readers to experience the story from diverse characters’ lenses, deepening emotional connections and expanding the plot’s complexity. Such layered storytelling is highly engaging for fantasy readers who appreciate multifaceted worlds and character development. The author's decision to unpublish and rework the book after a significant life change underscores the power of faith-inspired creativity. Integrating Christian themes amid mystical and gothic motifs challenges traditional fantasy tropes and offers readers thoughtful reflections on redemption, purpose, and struggle. This fusion appeals to a broad audience looking for spiritually meaningful yet thrilling fantasy narratives. For aspiring writers, this journey highlights the importance of persistence and continual improvement. The author's willingness to revisit a long-standing project without shame but pride reflects an inspiring creative mindset. Editing is a vital phase where stories are refined, and the final push to publish represents the culmination of dedication and belief in the story’s significance. Fans of fantasy books, gothic mythology, and faith-infused narratives will find The Scamenaur Chronicles poised to deliver a unique reading experience. As the author prepares to publish after extensive editing, anticipation grows for a tale that balances high action with profound spiritual insights, ultimately aiming to share a God-inspired story crafted over a decade of imagination and growth.
