First Pop Up Shop

Hosting my first pop-up shop was an incredible journey, and I’m so excited to share what I learned, especially for anyone looking to create their own "pop-up brand experiences" with a faith-based mission. Seeing the smiles and hearing the stories of those who resonated with our message was truly heartwarming. It’s one thing to sell online, but meeting customers face-to-face, like the wonderful folks I met at my "SCRIPTS" booth, adds a whole new dimension of connection and community building. If you're dreaming of setting up your own "christian pop up shops," here are a few tips from my recent experience. First, prayer and preparation go hand-in-hand. I spent time praying over the event, the attendees, and every piece of jewelry and apparel we were bringing. This helped set a peaceful and intentional atmosphere. These venues often attract an audience already open to supporting faith-based businesses. Setting up your booth is key to creating an inviting "brand experience." Make sure your display is visually appealing and easy to navigate. I made sure our "SCRIPTS" banner was prominent, clearly stating our identity as a Christian brand. Displaying the jewelry and apparel thoughtfully, with clear pricing and messaging, helps customers feel comfortable. Don't forget some personal touches – a small sign with your brand story, or even just a friendly smile and a warm greeting, can make all the difference. I loved having a designated spot for conversation, allowing me to share how the designs are inspired by faith and what each piece means to me and our brand. Finally, embrace the unexpected and be open to every interaction. Some of the most meaningful moments came from unexpected conversations and connections. It solidified my belief that these pop-up experiences are vital for building a genuine community around your brand. I left feeling incredibly grateful and fired up for what's next, knowing that each pop-up is a chance to not only grow our brand but also to share a little bit of God's love and light.
