When Goliath drew closer to David with a man that was holding his shield. He started to disdain David, because of his youth and his appearance towards him; so much that Goliath start cursing out David by his gods, and saying, " Come to me and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air and to the beasts of the field." But, David responded saying, "Thou comest to me with a sword and with a spear, and with a shield: But I come to thee in the name of the Lord of host." David continued saying to the Philistine that he defied the armies of Living God. Then he told Goliath today The Lord will deliver him into his hands and he will take his head and will give his carcass to fowls of the air and to the beasts of the field, that people may know that there is a God in Israel. ( 1 Samuel 17: 41-46)
