World leaders gathered at the United Nations on Monday, announcing or confirming recognition of Palestine as a state. Six European countries, including France, Monaco, Belgium, Malta, Luxembourg, Malta, Andorra, announced their recognition of Palestinian Statehood.
In the past two days, at least 10 countries have recognized Palestine as a state. So far out of the UN's 193 member states, at least 157 have recognized the state of Palestine, and the U.S. is not one of them.
