Meet all of my 22 snakes 🐍🐍
There’s a lot that I can say about each one of these snakes so it was difficult to introduce them so quickly otherwise the video would be 30 minutes long! I think this was my favorite video so far that I made since I love the snakes more than any other animal out there. Lots of the enclosures haven’t been cleaned yet as I took these on cleaning day and cleaned afterwards. If you have any name suggestions for the 4 new ones, let me know! #snake #reptile #pet #animal
It's so much fun sharing my snake family with you all! After introducing my 22 wonderful pets, I often get asked about what makes a great pet snake and which breeds are good for beginners or experienced keepers. There are so many amazing pet snake breeds out there, and finding the right one really depends on your lifestyle and what you're looking for in a scaly companion. For anyone looking to bring a snake into their home, I always recommend starting with thorough research. Some of my favorites, and generally popular choices for their docile nature, include Ball Pythons and Corn Snakes. As you saw, I have several Ball Pythons myself – like Hershey, King Princess, and Daisy! They're fantastic because they come in so many different types of Ball Pythons, known as 'morphs,' with incredible colors and patterns. Each of mine has such a distinct look, even with their classic markings. They’re usually quite calm and don't require super complex setups, making them perfect for many first-time owners. Then there are Corn Snakes, like my Saori Rook. They're also very hardy and forgiving, active and beautiful, and they rarely get very large. If you're looking for a cute snake breed that's relatively easy to handle, a Corn Snake is definitely one to consider! I even have a Kenyan Sand Boa named Scarlet, who is truly fascinating to watch as she burrows. For those with a bit more experience, or who appreciate something truly unique, you might look at other boas and pythons like my Green Tree Pythons, Mystic and Diesel, or my Carpet Pythons like Twizzler, my Caramel Jaguar. My boyfriend also has a stunning Caramel Irian Jaya Carpet Python! These can be absolutely beautiful and rewarding to keep. My Amazon Tree Boa and Boa Constrictor Diablo are also incredible, but they require more specialized care and space given their potential size and specific needs. Diablo, for instance, is longer than I am! It's truly amazing to see such powerful creatures up close. Speaking of powerful snakes, I know some people worry about larger snakes like pythons. The query about 'python squeezing human' comes up sometimes, and it's important to understand that while pythons are constrictors, responsible handling and understanding your snake's cues are absolutely key. My snakes are beloved pets, and I never put myself or them in unsafe situations. With proper care, respect, and understanding their body language, interactions are generally safe and incredibly rewarding. It's all about building trust and knowing their limits. These aren't wild animals; they're pets that rely on us for their well-being and thrive on a calm environment. Beyond the popular choices, there are also unique ones like my Woma Python, Brooks King Snakes (like Malvina, who loves to eat!), and Lavender King Snakes! Each of these snake breeds for pets offers something different, whether it's their pattern, size, or behavior. It’s truly a journey to learn about each one and provide them with the best environment. If you're considering expanding your scaly family, don't hesitate to explore these fascinating creatures – there's a perfect snake out there for everyone!
