For a long time, I thought becoming meant arriving.

Arriving at healing.

Arriving at peace.

Arriving at the woman I prayed to become.

But lately, God has been reminding me of something different. Every step of becoming has quietly led me back to the same place.

Right in front of God.

Maybe that's what I've been searching for all along.

Not another destination.

Just His presence.

I have a feeling this next chapter is going to be different.

Quieter.

Slower.

More honest.

And I'm grateful you're here to walk through it with me.

... Read moreThroughout my personal spiritual journey, I've learned that the process of becoming is far more profound than simply reaching a fixed point or accomplishment. Like the author experienced, I once believed that success meant 'arriving'—achieving a state of healing, peace, or the ideal version of myself I had envisioned. However, over time, it became clear that the true transformation happens in the consistent practice of returning to the present moment, especially in God’s presence. This realization has been a quiet yet powerful shift. Instead of rushing toward goals or external milestones, I’ve found peace in slowing down and embracing the journey's unpredictability. The 'next chapter' that feels quieter and more honest often brings more profound growth than any visible achievement. In my experience, intentionally cultivating God's presence involves daily moments of stillness, prayer, and reflection. These practices invite a deep connection to faith and support resilience through life's challenges. It’s not about reaching a final destination but finding contentment and strength in each step forward, even when progress feels slow or uncertain. For those walking a similar path, remember that becoming is a lifelong process. It requires patience, gentleness with oneself, and an openness to change. The beauty lies in knowing that no matter where you are, you are already exactly where you need to be—in front of God, enveloped in His presence and love.
