There are still things I want from this life.

Not because the life I have isn't enough.

I genuinely love it here.

But I'm still curious.

Things I haven't created yet.

There are parts of myself I probably haven't even discovered. And there are prayers between God and me that I'm still waiting to see what He does with.

I don't think gratitude requires us to stop dreaming. Maybe the beautiful thing is being able to hold both.

Thank You, God, for what is here.

And......

God, there are still things in my heart. I'm learning that neither cancels out the other.

... Read moreIn my personal journey, I've found that embracing gratitude doesn't mean we close the door on our dreams or the deeper parts of ourselves still waiting to be discovered. Sometimes, life feels like a beautiful balance between appreciating what is and longing for what could be. I resonate deeply with the idea that we can be content with our present while still holding onto curiosity and hope. Often, I reflect on unanswered prayers and the unknowable ways in which they might unfold. It's a delicate dance—feeling thankful for the blessings already received while maintaining an open heart to the possibilities God or life holds in the future. This duality has helped me develop a more patient and receptive mindset. In practical terms, I've started journaling not only what I'm grateful for each day but also the aspirations and questions I carry. It's a tangible way to honor both gratitude and curiosity. It feels freeing to accept that these feelings don't cancel each other out but enrich my experience. This approach can be empowering for anyone striving to live a meaningful life. You don't have to sacrifice your dreams to be grateful, nor should your gratitude dull your enthusiasm for growth. Instead, by holding both, you create space for continued self-discovery, creativity, and spiritual dialogue, exactly as expressed in the heartfelt reflections shared here.
