When I draw him, I often think about dynamic action poses, as he's always ready for a fight. Don't forget his arsenal: katanas, stakes, and various other vampire-hunting tools can add so much to the drawing's narrative. It's about capturing his gritty, determined personality. Easy Blade Drawing Tips for Beginners If you're just starting out, don't get overwhelmed! My top tip for easy blade drawing is to always start with very light sketches. This way, you can easily erase and adjust. Using reference photos is incredibly helpful, whether you're drawing a fantasy sword or a realistic knife. Practice shading to give your blade depth and a metallic appearance – a quick way to do this is to leave a thin line of white (a highlight) along the sharpest edge and then gradually darken the rest of the blade.
