What Do YOU Want? 💛

Not what everyone expects from you.

Not what you've always done.

Not what feels comfortable.

What do YOU actually want now?

One of the things I've noticed about midlife is that many women aren't losing themselves.

They're finally finding themselves.

After years of caring for everyone else, we get a chance to ask a question we haven't asked in a long time:

✨ What do I want?

Not five years from now.

Not someday.

Now.

Today's Journal Prompt

💛 I want more...

My answers:

✨ More laughter

✨ More peace

✨ More adventures

✨ Less worrying about things I can't control

And maybe...

✨ Fewer bras with underwire 😂

One thing these 30 days have reminded me is that none of us were meant to navigate this season alone.

So what do YOU want more of?

... Read moreNavigating midlife can feel like entering uncharted territory, but it also brings incredible opportunities for self-discovery and personal growth. From my experience, this phase is less about losing oneself and more about peeling back the layers shaped by years of catering to others’ needs. Finally, there’s space to ask: What do I really want in this moment? This question opens up possibilities for more joy, peace, and fulfillment. I found that embracing small changes—like prioritizing laughter, seeking adventures that light me up, and learning to release control over things that cause unnecessary worry—can significantly boost my wellbeing. Interestingly, even simple comforts, such as choosing bras without underwire, became a symbol of reclaiming comfort and self-care. It’s important to recognize that midlife doesn’t have to be a solitary journey. Many women connect through communities like #MenopauseMafia, #MidlifeJourney, and #WomenOver40, where shared experiences offer support and encouragement. These connections reinforce that we’re not alone in this transformation. Journaling prompts like “I want more...” help uncover desires that might have been buried under years of responsibility. Taking time to reflect on what truly matters now, not in five years or someday, grounds your intentions in the present and empowers meaningful change. Ultimately, midlife can be a beautiful season of cultivating self-love, adventure, and peace. I encourage you to ask yourself, "What do YOU actually want now?" and to lean into that truth with openness and courage. Embracing this mindset can transform your experience and welcome your own unique second spring.

I know these are a little maximalist for a lot of people, but personally I really love the mix of themes and silhouettes that this whole look would create on me! The style of this all is very abstract and asymmetrical, but I feel like it could balance out. I definitely think I want to be more maxim
