Trusting God’s Plan When Life Feels Stuck
🌿 Trusting God in the Unknown: When Life Feels Stuck, He’s Still Working 🌿#faithstruggles
I moved from my mom’s house to my dad’s thinking it would be better. In some ways, it is—I have more freedom, privacy, and my siblings, who always have my back. But in other ways, it’s been really tough.
Job hunting has been exhausting. I apply to jobs constantly, but nothing seems to come through. Because of that, I have to rely on my dad for basic needs like food and toiletries. I try to keep my needs minimal, but even then, it feels like I’m a burden. Last night, after asking for money for food, my dad snapped at me, telling me I better be looking for jobs. I am. But his words still cut deep.
It’s not just that—I did have a job, but I had to quit after three days. The work environment was overwhelming, and I ended up catching a stomach virus that landed me in the ER. After that, my dad told me I make bad decisions, that I need to stop quitting things, and said a lot of other hurtful things. But I knew I couldn’t make it at that job. Still, his words stuck with me.
And honestly? It’s been hard to stay strong in my faith. Not because of sin, but because of my own lack of accomplishments. I know the Lord provides, I know He makes a way, I know He will never leave me—but I feel like I’m missing something. Mentally, I’ve been down. Spiritually, I’ve been struggling. Physically, I’m just holding on.
I want a better life, but I don’t see it yet. I want to trust God’s plan, but I don’t know how.
But maybe that’s faith—trusting when nothing makes sense. Believing when I don’t feel strong. Holding on when I don’t see the way.
If you’re in a season like this, you’re not alone. I don’t have all the answers, but I know that even in the silence, even in the struggle, God is still here. He hasn’t left me. And He hasn’t left you either. ❤️ #christianmotivation #motivation#letschat #lemon8creator
Many people struggle with feeling stuck in their lives, especially during challenging times. It's crucial to remember that trusting God’s plan is often about having faith in the unseen and believing that He has a purpose in our struggles. In Jeremiah 29:11, it's beautifully stated, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord. This verse reassures us that despite how heavy our burdens may feel, there is always hope ahead. Being in a tough spot, whether it’s job hunting or managing difficult relationships, can take a toll on our mental and spiritual well-being. Many face similar battles, questioning their decisions and feeling lost. These moments of uncertainty can cloud our vision, making it hard to recognize the growth that often happens in silence. One way to cope is through prayer. Asking God for guidance and clarity can be a transformative experience. A simple prayer such as, "God, I feel lost. Please provide strength and help me trust You even when I don’t understand,” can make a significant difference. Reflection on past experiences can also provide insights. Recognizing that God’s timing is not always aligned with our own can help in accepting where we are in life. Remember, He is with you, even if it doesn't feel like it. Keep holding onto faith, knowing that with time, clarity and direction will come. Remember, you are not alone in this journey.
