When I first envisioned Immi, I wanted to create an "alien-like figure" that truly stood out. The core concept revolved around her being a 'flesh & bone fanatic,' which immediately lends itself to a fascinating and slightly unsettling personality. My design process for Immi started with sketching her unique features. I knew she needed distinctive "antennae" to convey emotion and connection to her environment. Her "dark hair" provides a striking contrast to her other vibrant elements. For her eyes, I initially played with "pink eyes" for a softer, yet still alien, look, but ultimately settled on "glowing red eyes" to emphasize her more "menacing face" and hint at the "madness" that bubbles beneath her surface. Those "sharp teeth" are crucial, adding to her predatory charm and the 'flesh & bone' theme. Her "red outfit" was chosen not just for aesthetics, but to complement her overall color palette and reinforce her strong, assertive presence. I spent a lot of time on her "full-body pose" to ensure it captured her essence – a creature that is both powerful and perhaps a little unpredictable. And who can forget the adorable, yet slightly unsettling, "bug-like creature holding a bone" that accompanies her? It's a small detail that adds so much to her world and character. Developing a comprehensive "character sheet" for an alien OC like Immi is incredibly important. It helps solidify all these details, making sure she's consistent across different poses and expressions. It's like building an entire mini-universe for just one being! Now, thinking about "Immi animation" gets me really excited! Imagine those "antennae" twitching with curiosity or fear, and her "glowing red eyes" narrowing with fierce determination. Her "sharp teeth" could be used for menacing grins or actual chomping action. An animated Immi could truly showcase her dynamic personality. I've been pondering different animation styles – perhaps a slightly stylized 2D approach would best capture her expressive features and unique silhouette. Her "red outfit" would pop on screen, making her instantly recognizable. Bringing an alien OC like her to life through animation would allow for exploration of her movements – would she be agile and quick, or more deliberate and powerful? The possibilities are endless when imagining her interacting with her environment, maybe even playfully snatching that bone from her little bug companion. The process of character creation, especially for an alien OC, is a deep dive into imagination. From the initial spark of an "alien-like figure" to refining every detail of her "character sheet," it’s a labor of love. I hope this peek into Immi's world inspires you to explore your own creative depths and perhaps even design your own unique characters!
