Book Review: Kingdom of Ash

I’ve been trying to read this book for months and finally am sitting down and locked in. It’s like every chapter I get more anxious and anxious about what is going to happen because i know it will be horrible

My heart actually aches for all of them and being the reader were experiencing it from all sides. Like aelin really has me so distraught and i want to save her so bad. Cairn needs to actually meet his maker and so does maeve

Dorian is slowly becoming my all time favorite, like the way his power is just growing and he’s just perfect lol. Manon always been that bitch and the Thirteen are as well, the way they work together should be studied because WHAT??

it was going very slow for me reading but now that they’ve got by girl back it’s 10/10 like yes. I love everybody like aelin and fenyrs are just perfect and i love their bond and just everything about them. Dorian is really a KING and it’s so beautiful to see him accept it and become THE king. Bro Dorian is so smarttt!!! he really became who he wanted to be ughh im living for this.

I am on the edge of my seat right now, I actually had to stop reading and was sobbing crying. That was a lot, The way this book ending was perfect and i’m sad to see it go but it was so beautifully written and because I literally had moment like why is this book 900 of nothing but to get to that ending it was worth it to me.

Favorite Quotes:

“It is the strength of this that matters. No matter where you are, no matter how far, this will lead you home”.

“Someone worthy of my friends,” he said into the quiet night. “A king worthy of his kingdom.” For a heartbeat, snow-white hair and golden eyes flashed into his mind. “Happy,” he whispered, and wrapped a hand around Damaris’s hilt. Let go of that lingering scrap of terror.

“Let’s make this a fight worthy of a song,”

... Read moreOkay, fellow readers, if you're like me, you might be wondering about a few things when it comes to Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas. I know a lot of you search for 'how long is Kingdom of Ash' or 'how many pages is Kingdom of Ash,' and let me tell you, it's a commitment! This book is massive, often clocking in at over 900 pages, depending on your edition. I even found myself dragging a bit in the beginning, but honestly, every single page is worth it for the emotional journey and the epic conclusion you get. Many of you also want to know 'what happens in Kingdom of Ash' or 'how did Kingdom of Ash end.' Without giving away any major spoilers, let me just say it’s a finale that ties up so many loose ends and delivers incredible character growth. You'll witness immense sacrifice, unwavering loyalty, and the culmination of years of struggle for our beloved characters. Seeing our fierce warrior with white hair and her mighty sword face her destiny was just everything. The emotional impact is HUGE. If you're looking for an ending that feels earned and powerful, this is it. Trust me, you'll be on the edge of your seat, maybe even shedding a few tears, but it's an ending that truly resonates. And for those asking 'did Cairn [hurt] Aelin,' or 'what happens to Cairn in Kingdom of Ash,' without revealing specifics, I can tell you that the book delivers a strong sense of justice. Certain characters definitely get what's coming to them, and the payoffs for all the suffering are deeply satisfying. The journey for Aelin and her companions is fraught with peril, but their resilience shines through. When it comes to 'Kingdom of Ash reviews,' like the overlay on my book image says, I'd give this a solid 5-star rating. It's truly 'a book I wish I could read for the first time again.' It’s a masterclass in fantasy storytelling, blending action, romance, and political intrigue seamlessly. And for those curious about the 'Kingdom of Ash UK cover,' I've noticed that different regions sometimes have unique and stunning cover art. While my copy has a certain look, it's always fun to see the various interpretations from across the globe – they often highlight different aspects of the amazing world Sarah J. Maas created. So, if you're debating diving into this incredible series finale, don't hesitate. Prepare for a long read, but also prepare for an unforgettable adventure that will stay with you long after you've turned the final page.
