Had a slow morning🌸 slept long much needed
🩷 I slept so long I was feeling so lazy I was even wondering if I was depressed ?
But turns out a lot of us are in survival mode if not all especially in this country. We weren’t meant to live this stressed. And as women our body is always working. And as mothers we do more than we imagine because taking care of our babies with love is so effortless we forget how much we’re actually doing. When your body is craving rest. Rest! If your body is yearning for sleep, sleep !! And don’t feel bad about that!
🩷 sleep is so important you’re doing a body of service, your loving yourself , you’re recharging!
To anyone that’s hard on themselves it’s ok to rest and maybe hold of on your duties 😘
It's completely normal to feel exhausted and sometimes even question your emotional state when you've been running on empty for too long. Sleep is not a luxury; it's a vital component of overall health, particularly for women who juggle multiple roles daily. Many of us find ourselves in a constant state of survival mode, pushed by societal expectations and personal responsibilities. This is especially true for mothers who provide endless care and love to their children yet often neglect their own needs. Recognizing that rest is essential to recharge both body and mind can be life-changing. Making time for a rest day or even a few extra hours of sleep is an act of self-love and can lead to improved mood, better immune function, and increased productivity. Don't let feelings of laziness or guilt prevent you from giving your body what it truly needs. Listening to your body's signals—whether it’s craving sleep or simply a slower pace—is important to maintain balance. In addition to sleep, light activity such as gentle cardio or tidying up can aid in releasing stress and improving overall well-being, as reflected in daily self-care routines shared by many. Small actions like unpacking healthy snacks or preparing for upcoming trips can also promote a sense of accomplishment without overwhelming yourself. Remember, taking breaks and prioritizing sleep are not signs of weakness but marks of strength and wisdom. By honoring your body’s needs, you set a positive example and create a sustainable environment for both yourself and those you care for. Embrace rest and let it rejuvenate your spirit—your future self will thank you.
