Post Workout Skincare Routine 🧖🏾♀️
Here’s my post-workout skincare routine 🏃🏾♀️:
I love using all the travel sizes I get from gifts for this, to minimize waste!
🧖🏾♀️ First up is the cult-fave Youth to the People Kale + Green Tea Spinach Vitamin Cleanser. It is a pretty good cleanser with a refreshing yet subtle fragrance, but i’m not the biggest fan of it. It doesn’t sud the way I’d like it to, but overall, it’s a pretty good cleanser!
🧖🏾♀️ Next is toner: the Khiel’s Calendula Herbal Extract Toner, which is also mild in fragrance and is a nice balancing toner.
🧖🏾♀️ For this one, I just had to bring the full size from home. This is the CosRX Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence. This is my obvious go to for a plump, hydrated look. I have heard that it breaks some people out, but it doesn’t break me out and it has proven to be quite effective in fading dark spots and improving evenness.
🧖🏾♀️ next is my hyaluronic acid serum. This is just decanted from my full size that I have at home. If you have seen my post my skincare post before you know that this is the only hyaluronic acid serum that I use in my routine. There is not much more to say about that, but if you want more information, go check out my previous skincare posts!
🧖🏾♀️ when I said, I use all my travel sizes, I was not kidding! This moisturizer was from last year‘s Sephora birthday gift 🥲! This is the Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream, and it’s just a good moisturizer. I am not usually picky with my moisturizers, as long as they are moisturizing, but not leaving the oily, I am all for it. I do have my favorite moisturizers (if you are interested, I can do a separate post on all the moisturizers that I love), but I am overall not picky… this one is pretty good, it’s not great, it’s good.
🧖🏾♀️ last but certainly not least is the elf untouchable, invisible sunscreen. This is a supposed dupe for the Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen 👀. This has almost an identical consistency on the skin and on my hands, and it provides adequate sun protection, while giving you the priming benefits before applying makeup! when I apply makeup on top of this, this sunscreen doesn’t make my look separate it or become oily, and I find that I am balanced throughout the day. it’s worth a try, and it is a great inexpensive alternative!

After an intense workout, it's crucial to replenish and care for your skin. Keeping your skin fresh and hydrated improves recovery, especially when it comes to fading dark spots and achieving an even complexion. The Youth to the People Kale + Green Tea Spinach Vitamin Cleanser effectively removes sweat and impurities without stripping your skin of moisture. Follow up with Kiehl's Calendula Herbal Extract Toner, a gentle yet effective product that balances the skin’s pH. The CosRX Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence is perfect for hydration and healing post-workout breakouts with its unique formulation that also targets pigmentation. Adding a hyaluronic acid serum enhances moisture and plumpness, followed by a lightweight moisturizer like Drunk Elephant's Protini Polypeptide Cream to seal in that hydration. Finally, don't forget sunscreen! The ELF Untouchable Invisible Sunscreen provides sun protection while priming the skin, ensuring your complexion stays flawless throughout the day. By adopting a diligent post workout skincare routine, you can maintain a glowing, healthy complexion.
