I’m starting IVF šŸ™šŸ½šŸ’‰

I’ve been nervous to share this, but here we go—this week is the real start of our IVF journey! I have my baseline ultrasound coming up, and I officially start injections on Friday.

I’ve been prepping with some essentials that have come highly recommended by others going through IVF, and I wanted to share in case it helps someone else:

1. Cosmetic Organizer – I found this spacious one on Amazon to keep all my syringes, needles, and room-temperature meds organized. It’s been a game changer for staying on top of everything.

2. Liquid IV – Staying hydrated is key, especially during injections, so I’ve been stocking up on this to keep my electrolytes balanced.

3. Vitamins – I’ve been taking Ritual Prenatals and NatureWise Vitamin D for about a year now. My doctor recommended both, and I love that they don’t leave any weird aftertaste.

4. Portable Heating Pad – I grabbed one for egg retrieval after seeing it all over TikTok—it was only $15 and looks like it’ll be super helpful for post-retrieval recovery.

5. Letter Board – I’ll be using this to track how our eggs progress after retrieval. Hoping and praying for good news.

6. Comfy Cute Outfits + Gifted Goodies – I’ve picked out some cozy sets to wear to appointments, retrieval, and transfer day. Plus, I’ve been spoiled with a few sweet IVF gifts from friends!

While I’m excited, it still doesn’t feel real that we’re finally here. We’ve been planning this for a long time, and we want to be parents so badly. We haven’t shared this journey with many people yet because we’re hoping everything goes smoothly the first time—but I wanted to tell my lemon8 friends here.

So, please send us all the good vibes as we head into this next month! #ivf #ttc #ivftips #fertilityjourney #ivfcommunity
