Genesis 1 & 2 🌟🌳🦅🌊

You Were Made on Purpose, for a Purpose

Before there was noise, before there were deadlines and to-do lists and the pressure to figure out your life... there was God. And He was creating.

Genesis 1 and 2 show us that nothing about creation was an accident. Every single thing God made, He called good. The light. The water. The land. The animals. And then He made you, and called it very good.

That word matters. Not just good. Very good.

God didn’t just speak humans into existence the way He did everything else. He got close. He formed and breathed life into us. That’s personal. That’s intentional. That’s love before love even had a name.

... Read moreReflecting on Genesis 1 and 2 truly reveals a profound depth in the origins of life and our purpose on earth. What stands out most to me is how the creation narrative isn't just about forming the physical world but about a very intentional act of setting order out of chaos, bringing light to darkness, and crafting a livable environment full of purpose. The detailed sequence—from separating light and dark, creating the sky, land, seas, vegetation, to the animals and finally humans—shows a deliberate, step-by-step unfolding of life. What deeply touches me is the way humans were created differently: God formed us personally from the dust and breathed life into us. This act isn't merely functional but deeply relational, signaling a personal connection and intent beyond the physical creation. It makes me feel that each of us has inherent value and a unique role, which aligns with the assertion that we were made on purpose, for a purpose. Additionally, the repeated affirmation that what God created was "good," and in the case of humans, "very good," highlights a perfect, harmonious beginning. This perspective can shape how we view ourselves and the world around us—not as accidents or byproducts but as meaningful parts of a grand design. In my own experience, embracing this viewpoint has helped me find motivation and peace, especially when life feels chaotic or uncertain. The creation story is a reminder that intentionality and love are at the core of existence, encouraging me to seek purpose in daily actions and relationships. For anyone exploring their faith or purpose, reflecting on Genesis 1 and 2 can be both comforting and inspiring, reinforcing the idea that despite life’s pressures and noise, there is a foundational purpose laid out from the very beginning.
