Can I be honest with you for a second?
There are promises in my life that I’ve basically… stopped believing.
Not because I don’t trust God, but because the waiting has been so long that hope started to feel foolish.
Abram knew that feeling.
He and Sarai were old. Way past the season of starting a family. And God had been promising him descendants for years, and still, nothing.
So one night, God takes him outside and says;
“Look up. Count the stars ... if you’re able to count them.”
And then He says: “So shall your descendants be.”
Not a spreadsheet. Not a timeline. Not an explanation.
Just look up.
I think sometimes God doesn’t give us answers. He gives us something bigger: a view.
A reminder that He’s operating on a scale we can’t even count.
Whatever promise feels impossible in your life right now, maybe today’s invitation is the same one Abram got.
Step outside. Look up.
And trust the One who named every single star to also be faithful over your story.
