Do yourself a favor and book a quick getaway to Block Island — it’s worth it. I took the ferry out of Port Judith (super smooth, under $25 roundtrip!) and spent the day soaking up all the beachy goodness.
First stop: a walk down to Ballard’s — free entry, good food & drinks, live music, beach chairs, cabanas, and you can come and go as you please. It’s basically a summer dream.
Breakfast at Persephone’s Kitchen was chef’s kiss — that simple egg sandwich with bacon + blush smoothie combo hit the spot. Did a little boutique shopping (I’m still thinking about those denim jackets 👀) and then it was all sun, sand, and ocean dips for the rest of the day.
Capped it off with an easy ferry ride back — somehow even faster than the trip out. Already ready to plan my next visit 🌊✨
