Oh my goodness, you guys HAVE to visit Stanley Marketplace! Last Friday, we decided to make it a family fun day, and it did not disappoint. I’d heard so much about the vibrant atmosphere, especially around the holidays, and it truly lived up to the hype. The moment we pulled into the parking lot, the nighttime view of the Stanley Marketplace building with its prominent blue neon "Stanley" sign just screamed 'fun awaits'! One of the most unexpected but delightful stops during our visit was encountering 'Dental Solutions of Central Park.' I was so curious to see what a dental practice would be doing at a multi-use marketplace, but they were actually part of the amazing 'CAMP Christmas EXPRESS' event! They had this super friendly setup right near the Christmas trees, and it wasn't your typical dental office vibe at all. Instead of a sterile environment, it was lively and engaging. They were giving out little goodie bags for the kids, which included brand-new toothbrushes, fun-flavored toothpaste samples, and engaging activity sheets about keeping your teeth healthy. My little one even got a sticker for answering a simple question about brushing twice a day – it was brilliant! It really made learning about dental care feel like an interactive part of the festive fun. It felt proactive and community-focused, which I totally appreciated. It’s always great to see local businesses like this engaging with families in such a positive way outside of a clinic setting, making health education accessible and enjoyable. I even picked up a brochure with some practical tips for maintaining good oral hygiene during the busy holiday season, which, let's be honest, is when we all indulge a little more! Beyond that fantastic surprise, Stanley Marketplace itself was just buzzing with energy. We were immediately drawn to the tantalizing smells from various eateries. We ended up grabbing some incredible 'Ramen Asian Cuisine' from one of the food stalls – seriously, the giant bowl with 'floating' noodles display was so cool and eye-catching, it made us want to try it right away! The flavors were amazing, a perfect warm-up for a chilly evening. The kids were totally mesmerized by all the Christmas decorations everywhere, from the beautifully lit trees to that quirky abstract snowman sculpture standing proudly outdoors. Every corner seemed to hold a new discovery! There were so many unique shops to browse, and we even spotted a festive display with a giant yellow pencil and Santa hats inside one of them – perfect for finding those unique, last-minute gifts. The whole place just radiates a cheerful, community-oriented spirit, making it easy to spend hours just wandering and soaking it all in. It was such a memorable Friday Family Fun outing.
