Just flying across the map in game
Hey everyone! So, you saw my quick post about flying across the map in Fortnite, and I wanted to dive a bit deeper into how I pull off those seemingly 'undetected' movements that can really turn the tide in a match. It's not just about getting from point A to B; it's about doing it smart, staying off the enemy's radar, and keeping that element of surprise. One of my favorite ways to achieve this is by really utilizing the terrain. Instead of just running in the open, I hug cover, use high ground for better visibility, and always keep an eye on the storm's path. There are so many subtle ways to move that most players overlook. For instance, have you ever tried using the Ziplines (like the ones near areas often referred to as 'Zipperzzz' zones or around 'BRUTAL BOXCARS' if you're familiar with those spots) strategically? They can be super fast, but if you're not careful, you're an easy target. My trick is to scope out the landing zone first, making sure it's clear, or at least that I have an immediate escape route or cover. Timing is everything! Another crucial tip for staying 'undetected' involves sound. Seriously, headphones are your best friend. I've heard enemies approaching from 100+ meters away, giving me enough time to position myself or even initiate a stealth attack. When I’m trying to make an 'undetected' move, I often rely on my 'Sprint' ability to get across open areas quickly, but only when I know the coast is clear, or I have a plan B if I get spotted. Weapon choice also plays a role in my stealthy playstyle. While I love the raw power of a 'SPIRE RIFLE' for long-range engagements, sometimes a suppressed SMG or pistol is better for close-quarter, silent takedowns if I manage to sneak up on someone. It’s all about adapting to the situation and your loadout. I remember one match where I managed to sneak into the final circle completely unnoticed, thanks to careful map traversal and avoiding direct confrontations until the perfect moment. I wasn't even in a 'PARTY CHANNEL' with friends that game, just solo queuing and focusing on my own movements. And don’t forget the vehicles! While they can be loud, sometimes a quick burst in a vehicle can get you out of a sticky situation or across a dangerous open field faster than any sprint. Just make sure you exit quickly and find cover, as their sound signature makes you an obvious target. My goal is always to keep my presence minimal, almost like a ghost on the map. It's incredibly satisfying to pull off a flank that no one saw coming because you mastered the art of moving 'undetected'. Give these tips a try in your next game, and let me know how it goes!
