the life of a showgirl album review ✨
I'm in the middle of the Swiftie spectrum - I like her songs but I'm not as hard-core as some other Swifties out there. This is just my opinion of her new album, The Life of a Showgirl 😀
💃The Fate of Ophelia
- I found it to sound a bit country and rock at the same time
- Did not expect the vibe to be like this
- I also did not expect this to be the first single
💃Elizabeth Taylor
- It grew on me after the second min
- Quite catchy
- I found it so creative that Taylor had a name as the chorus
💃Opalite
- This is catchy!! So good!!
- This should've been the first single tbh. It's on repeat for me 💯
- Vibe is very lights and city girl; good to dance when listening to this
💃Father Figure
- Was not expecting this kind of vibe and tune
- Found it to be alright
- The bridge and last few verses are good!
💃Eldest Daughter
- A commentary of online culture
- What a sad song :(
💃Ruin the Friendship
- Found this to be alright
- The lyrics though 👀
💃Actually Romantic
- Tune sounds a bit nostalgic
- Not bad!
- Last part of the song had some rock vibes
💃Wi$h Li$t
- Sounds like a commentary of wants and wishes
- A nice song. It grew on me after a couple of verses
- Actually it's quite touching
💃Wood
- Creative!
- Found the intro music to be nostalgic
💃CANCELLED!
- Throwback to reputation era
- A little ghostly kind of vibe
- Some darker lyrics there
- Catchy!
💃Honey
- This is such a lovely song 🥹 so sweet 🩷
💃The Life of a Showgirl
- This song is THE eras tour song 🥹🥹 man I was so moved when Taylor incorporated the crowd and weaved in the last part of the eras tour into the song
- "thank you for the lovely bouquet" 🥹🥹🥹🥹
- This sounds a little bit of Disney mixed in with a nostalgic vibe
- (Also, this song suits Sabrina Carpenter more than her current songs. Just my opinion, no hate pls.)
Overall, Opalite and The Life of Showgirl are the songs I have on repeat at the moment 💯💯
