Hurricane Helene: A Message from the Team
It’s hard to believe it’s been one year since Hurricane Helene swept through Western North Carolina. This storm caused catastrophic flooding, destroyed roads and bridges, and left thousands of families without homes or power. Entire mountain communities were cut off for weeks, and the road to recovery has been long.
At Semper Fi Custom Remodeling, we’ve witnessed firsthand both the heartbreak and the incredible resilience of our neighbors. The way our community pulled together, neighbors helping neighbors, volunteers showing up from all over, and families finding hope in the middle of loss, has been nothing short of inspiring.
We just want to say thank you to the WNC community. Your positivity and determination have turned tragedy into a story of strength and rebuilding. Together, we are proving that even the strongest storm can’t take away the heart of these mountains.
