I'm so thrilled to be working on my dream OC right now, and even though she doesn't have a name yet, her personality and aesthetic are really starting to shine through. Are they brave, shy, mischievous, or perhaps a bit of both? What's their backstory – a mysterious past, a valiant hero's journey, or a simple everyday life in a fantastical world? Even a few bullet points about their motivations, fears, and dreams can really help flesh them out. This foundational work is crucial for what makes a good OC – a character with depth and a compelling story that resonates with you and potentially others. Next comes the incredibly fun part: oc design ideas! This is where you get to visualize everything. I love browsing for aesthetic OCs and drawing inspiration from various sources, whether it's fashion, nature, or other fictional works. Think about color palettes that reflect their personality – bright and bold for an energetic character, or muted tones for someone more reserved. Consider their silhouette; does it convey power, grace, or perhaps a quirky charm? Unique features, like a distinctive hairstyle, a scar, or a specific accessory, can make them truly stand out.
