#creatorsearchinsights There was a season when all I had was a dream, a brief case full of unfinished scripts, faith the size of a mustard seed, and prayers whispered through survival mode. Life and religious persecution along with a smear campaign caused my business & reputation to be damaged beyond repair I was a homeless writer running with my daughter in fear of of people wanting to see us wiped out from the planet . Today, I sit at work looking out at a view I once cried for in silence.
This is your reminder to keep going.
Keep writing.
Keep building.
Keep posting your art.
Keep believing even when life looks nothing like the vision God placed in your spirit.
Success does not always arrive loudly. Sometimes it arrives after years of invisible healing, rejection, rebuilding, late nights, sacrifice, and choosing faith over fear.
To every creative, filmmaker, songwriter, author, entrepreneur, actor, and dreamer reading this: your current chapter is not your final chapter.
God is still writing your story.
Navigating through a season of homelessness and personal struggle is an unimaginable challenge, especially for a creative soul trying to keep their dreams alive. From my own experience, I understand how deeply isolating it can be to carry a dream while facing rejection, both socially and professionally. The story of starting with just a briefcase full of unfinished scripts and faith the size of a mustard seed resonates profoundly with anyone who has ever felt overlooked or broken by circumstances. What kept me moving forward was the discipline of writing daily, even when it seemed pointless. Writing became more than a hobby; it was my lifeline to hope and a reminder of who I was beyond my situation. Each draft, even the flawed and incomplete, was a brick laid toward rebuilding my life. Prayers whispered in survival mode became a powerful practice that grounded me when fear threatened to consume my spirit. For creatives feeling the weight of silence and closed doors, I recommend embracing small, consistent actions and finding solace in your art. Share your work, engage with like-minded communities, and allow your creative process to become a source of healing. It’s important to remember that success isn’t always loud or immediate—it often comes after years of invisible healing, rejection, and quiet perseverance. The visual reminder of "POV From Homeless to This" highlights a transformative journey where faith merges with action to create change. In my journey, acknowledging the pain without letting it define me made all the difference. To every filmmaker, author, entrepreneur, and dreamer reading this, your current hardships are not your story’s end. Keep building your craft, keep believing, and remember that the chapter you’re living now is just part of a larger narrative still being written.
