Lemon8 is failing and here’s why

Share and like to let lemon HQ know what’s up 😭

⭐️ Analytics:

Why can’t we see analytics on this app? Every other social platform has it. I don’t understand why Lemon8 can’t just use the same coding from TikTok.

⭐️ LAYERS!!

I want to create content in the app without switching between multiple apps just to make a cover photo. Lemon8 has such great templates and stickers, but you can’t change the order once you place them on the photo. Super frustrating 😭

⭐️ Recently Used:

This one isn’t as bad, but it would be incredibly useful if we could see our last few used templates and fonts, or even have a bookmark feature.

⭐️ Stolen Content:

A lot of people have been stealing content from other platforms and posting it here. This isn’t fair to creators making their own original content.

2024/6/7 Edited to

... Read moreLemon8, a unique platform inspired by TikTok, aims to provide a space for creative sharing. However, many users express dissatisfaction with its current features. One major issue is the absence of analytics, a fundamental tool available on other social media platforms that helps creators track their performance. Without insights, it is difficult for users to understand their audience and improve their content strategy. Additionally, users are frustrated by the app's content creation process. The lack of layers when editing photos means that many find it cumbersome to create appealing images without frequently switching applications. Users desire a streamlined experience that allows them to focus on creativity rather than formatting challenges. Furthermore, the demand for a 'Recently Used' feature for templates and fonts indicates that users want more accessibility to their previous designs, which would significantly enhance their content creation workflow. Lastly, the prevalence of content theft in Lemon8 is alarming; many creators are concerned about originality and want protection against infringement, urging the platform to implement stricter controls. Addressing these issues could help Lemon8 improve user satisfaction and retention.
