Anyone Have Experience With Something Like This ?!
About two weeks ago, my 3-year-old woke up with a rash on one shoulder. Within a day, it had spread to all his limbs. We went to urgent care and were first told it was hand, foot, and mouth—but honestly, it didn’t seem right to me. I followed the doctor’s advice and kept him home, but the rash keeps flaring up with no clear pattern. It fades, then comes back—sometimes worse.
We’ve been to urgent care twice and his pediatrician once. Now they’re thinking it might be an allergy, but nothing in our environment has changed. And if it is an allergy, why is it happening daily with no relief?
The rash doesn’t seem to bother him at all, but as a parent, it’s hard not knowing what’s going on. I even tried a Google image search, and the only similar rashes I found were from people who had been exposed to heat sources.
